Pediatric rehabilitation medicine

This is what I am most proud of

The pediatric rehabilitation research line is a novel line of research in the department of rehabilitation.

We are heavily involved in the foundation of the Child Brain Lab of the Erasmus MC/Sophia; we have just executed our first research project connected to the pediatric brain lab, an investigation of what outcomes are important to children with brain disorders and their parents.

Milestones for the coming 2 years

In the coming two years we hope to start data collection in the pediatric brain lab. Two PhD students will start projects based on these data.
We are developing a research line on measurement and treatment of trunk stability abnormalities in preschool children in collaboration with the TU Delft.
In two years we will have a functioning, feasible objective measurement instrument and we will have started experimental interventions using virtual reality and robotics.
