Research area
I have been appointed as a strategic advisor in the department. Themes I am involved in are strategy development such as bringing focus to our portfolio, internationalization and collaboration with companies and other healthcare institutions. I am also responsible for connecting innovation and science in a broad sense.
Together with the head of department, I give substance to the bridging function between innovation and science in the Rijndam-Erasmus MC collaboration. In addition, I am used as a process supervisor when drafting larger research applications.
I have worked as a (program) manager and management consultant in various sectors. The last 10 years I have mainly worked at the intersection of science, business, education and care.
Milestones for the coming 2 years
My milestones for the next two years are:
- to have a major contribution to the set up of a Human Mobilty Center in which clinicians and researchers from Erasmus MC and TU Delft and surrounding healthcare institutions such as Rijndam and Laurens work together around measuring and improving patients mobility.
- I would also like to contribute to translate results of scientific research into relevance for clinical practice.
- My aim is to set set up joint projects in which both innovation and science go hand in hand.
